On 12th April, 2025 a fire safety drill was conducted in school to educate students about essential safety measures in case of a fire emergency. Students were informed about the necessary steps to take if a fire breaks out, including how to evacuate the premises calmly and safely without panic.
They were also taught how to operate fire extinguishers and were introduced to the different types of extinguishers and their specific uses. After the demonstration, students were encouraged to come forward and practice using the extinguishers themselves.
In addition, a fire alarm demonstration was carried out. Students were instructed on how to respond when the alarm rings—how to exit their classrooms in an orderly manner and where to assemble outside the building. All instructions were clearly explained by the designated safety officer.
The drill proved to be an informative and practical experience, helping students become more aware and prepared for emergency situations.
